Burlington Twp.: Charles P. Gould Sr., age 86 of Burlington Township died Saturday, March 23, 2019 in the company of his loving family. Mr. Gould was born in Pine Plains, NY and was the son of the late Charles B. and Alice Adams Gould. He resided in Burlington Township lifelong and retired from Maguire Air Force Base after 38 years of dedicated service. After his retirement, he was employed by Burlington County Special Services for 11 years. Charles served his country with honor in the US Army during Korea. Mr. Gould was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Burlington where he was a deacon and served on the Sessions Committee, he was a Scout Master for Troop 45 of Columbus for 12 years, Assistant Scout Master for Troop 42, recipient of the Silver Beaver Award and trained adults in Scouting. Charlie was also a member of the 1492ers Campers Club and the Willitts Hogan Tonne American Legion Post 39 for 37 years. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister & brother-in-law, Jane & Leroy Brigham, brother, Robert Gould, sister, Joane Gilbert, mother-in-law & father-in-law, Mini Moller Manser & Frank Manser and brother- in- law, Walt Manser. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Manser Gould, son, Charles Gould Jr., grandson & fiance, Zachary Gould & Stephanie Phillips, granddaughter, Laura Lynne Gould, sister-in-law, Gladice Manser, brother-in-law, Donald Gilbert, many nieces, nephews & loved ones. Funeral services will be Thursday 12:00 PM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling with Pastor Deborah Brinciballi officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 10:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, North Hanover Township. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to The Presbyterian Church of Burlington, 300 Mill Road, Burlington, New Jersey 08016.
