I am sorry to hear of Charlie Gould’s passing. He was my scoutmaster and friend for life and the biggest positive influence on how I turned out. Troop 45 could not have had a better leader who taught us more about being an adult than any of the by-the-book training scouts had to offer. More than anything I learned in school too. There are a bunch of us out there who can say the same.
I will always remember the good times we had camping every month of the year. Charlie saw to it that we could. Twelve weekends per year plus troop meetings every week. We saw more of Charlie than most kids see of their own parents! And we are eternally grateful to Betty for encouraging (letting?) him to do it.
Thank you Charlie. I’d like to say rest in peace, but I know he already has them busting up laughing in heaven.

I am so saddened by the loss of Uncle Charlie. Man, where do I begin.... Uncle Charlie was my dad’s best man in my parents wedding. He and my dad are now together again in heaven. Reunite, say hello to him and give him a big hug for me. If there is ANYONE in this world that I respected, looked up to and needed a laugh, Charlie was the man. Family memories for years and years, and still not enough. I’m gonna miss you more than you know. My tears are flowing like a waterfall, and believe me they don’t come often. Thanks for being in my life, say hello to dad and stay out of trouble.
Aunt Bet and Chucky, prayers and thoughts be with you guys. Love you lots!!

I just learned of Uncle Charlie's passing. My heart aches more than I can express. A very special man indeed, who was a true gentleman. You all took me in, and made me family. Heaven has gained a prince of a man. I will forever keep you in my heart, Uncle Charlie. I love you always.

My sympathies and condolences to Aunt Bet, Chuck, and their extended family. I remember Uncle Charlie fondly, who was always the most upbeat person in the room. I know he's up there making Big Walt laugh right now. Take care everyone.
