Obituary of David M. "Dave" Culliton

Allentown: David M. "Dave" Culliton age 75 of Allentown, New Jersey entered his eternal life on Sunday, March 19, 2023 in the company of his loved ones. Mr. Culliton was born in Trenton to the late Edward and Madeline Plumeri Culliton. David called Hamilton Township his home for the majority of his life before moving to Allentown 6 years ago. He was an assistant manager for ShopRite at various store locations. Mr. Culliton served his country with honor in the US Army during the Vietnam War. David was a sports enthusiast of all sports. He never passed up the opportunity to cheer on the New York Yankees and he also coached CYO Basketball. Dave unpretentiously and abundantly shared what he had with those less fortunate than he was. He was all about quality family time and always eager to schedule his "Movie Dates" with his daughters. Dave will be celebrated as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. Mr. Culliton was a member of St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Yardville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Panas and Anastasia Didenko and is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Julie Didenko Culliton, his children and their spouses, Larissa and Jason Aspromonti and Lauren and Matt Bradley, grandchildren, Olivia and Emily, brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Caroline Culliton and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Panahida Service will be Wednesday 7:00 PM at St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 839 Yardville Allentown Road, Yardville with Very Rev. Petro Levko officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 PM until the time of service at the church. Graveside services will be Thursday 11:00 AM in St. Andrew's Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, South Bound Brook.
