Obituary of Kyrylo "Carlo" Pasichnyk

Robbinsville, formerly of Philadelphia: Kyrylo "Carlo" Pasichnyk, age 100 of Robbinsville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Mr. Pasichnyk was born in Ukraine and resided in Brazil and Philadelphia for 50 years before moving to Robbinsville recently. He was a retired butcher and previously was employed as a steel worker. Kyrylo loved sports, especially soccer and WWE wrestling, reading the Svoboda Ukrainian Newspaper, listening to the Ukrainian radio station and his daily menu of oatmeal with honey. However, perhaps his most enjoyable times were spent with his family and the family dogs, Havoc and Rooney. He will be fondly remembered for his handsome and attractive appearance. Mr. Pasichnyk was a dedicated parishioner of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Philadelphia, PA for many years. He was predeceased by his parents, his children, Helen and Peter, his first wife, Katarina Pasichnyk and his second wife, Anna Pasichnyk. Kyrylo is survived by his loving daughter, Anna Scharko, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, a niece and a nephew. Kyrylo's family would like to express their extreme gratitude to his nurse, Iryna. Funeral services will be 9:00 AM Tuesday at St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 839 Yardville Allentown Road, Yardville with Very Rev. Petro Levko officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 8:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Interment will be in St. Andrew's Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, South Bound Brook.
