Obituary of Alice Hurd

Homestead at Mansfield: Alice Hurd, age 89 of Homestead at Mansfield entered her eternal life on Monday, October 24, 2022. Mrs. Hurd was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late George and Anna Krolacruski Amerman. She resided in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia for the majority of her life before moving to Homestead at Mansfield 21 years ago. Alice and her late husband, Bill traveled extensively and always found time for their daily walks. Alice's family was the center of her existence. She will be celebrated as the best "mom" and "mom-mom" who was also an amazing homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Alice P. Hurd, son, William Thomas "Billy" Hurd and her husband of 67 years who passed away in 2021, William T. "Bill" Hurd. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Thomas W. and Betty Ann Hurd, Karen A. Masi and Theresa L. and John Karcher, 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great- great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.
