Obituary of Svetlana G. Grizaniuk

Long Branch: Svetlana G. Grizaniuk, age 83 of Long Branch, New Jersey entered her eternal life on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Grizaniuk was born in Kiev, Ukraine and was the daughter of the late George and Tatyana Vasilenko Yankovsky. She resided in Howell Township before moving to Long Branch 4 years ago. Svetlana was a retired registered nurse with 30 years of dedicated care to her patients. Svetlana will be affectionately remembered as a loving wife, mother and Babushka. Her most delightful moments in her life were spent with her family. Mrs. Grizaniuk was a member of St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church in Jackson. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Nikolay Vedyaev and Alexander Grizaniuk and her brother. She is survived by her daughter, Olena Satysheva, son, Dmitry Vedyaev, grandchildren, Dmitry, Dennis and Anastasia, great grandchildren, Daniel and Victoria and her extended family, Anatole and Pat Grizaniuk and their family and Aaron and Lisa and Shannon and Justin and their families. Funeral services will be Friday 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, 316 Cassville Road, Jackson, New Jersey with Very Reverend Archpriest John Prokopiuk officiating. A Panahida service will be 5:00 PM Thursday at the church. Interment will be in St. Vladimir's Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Jackson Township. The family requests memorial donations are made to Susan G.
