Obituary of Sarah L. Talpas

Bordentown Township: Sarah L. Talpas of Bordentown Township, New Jersey entered her eternal life on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Mrs. Talpas was born in Watford, England and called Bordentown her home since 1990. She was an attorney assistant working in many areas of expertise for the State of New Jersey Attorney General's Office in Trenton with 20 years of exemplary service. Sarah was a certified handicapped riding instructor. Her love of horses began as a child and continued throughout her life. She was accomplished in horseback riding and enjoyed the rewards of her passion with these noble animals. Some of her most treasured times were spent at the stable with her husband, Steven and her horse, MaGee. Sarah will be fondly remembered and celebrated for her funny and clever personality and her compassion and thoughtfulness toward others. Those who enjoyed the privilege of knowing Sarah experienced the love, warmth and concern she was always so willing to give. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Lewis Ellis and is survived by her husband of 34 years, Steven Talpas, her father and his wife, Raymond and Pauline Ellis, sister and brother-in-law, Sian and John Evans, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Catarina Talpas, niece, Cleo, nephews, Harry and Joshua as well as many devoted and unwavering friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday 10:00 AM at Holy Assumption Church, 1290 Hornberger Avenue Roebling, NJ. Friends may call Sunday from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and Monday from 8:30 AM until church departure at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, NJ.
