Obituary of Harvey D. "Harv" Habeck

Willingboro: Harvey D. "Harv" Habeck, age 91 of Willingboro, New Jersey departed this life Thursday, August 25, 2022. Mr. Habeck was born in Athens, Wisconsin to the late Julius and Emilie Degner Habeck. He served his country with honor in the US Navy during the Korean and Vietnam Wars before retiring from the military. Harvey was a great father and loving "Pop- Pop" to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to spending time with his family, Harv always took time in his day to visit the Burlington Lanes to sharpen his skills at tenpins and will be celebrated for his talents. On a single occasion he successfully accomplished 246/300/300! Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his wife in 2004, Charlotte Rose Habeck, his 13 siblings and his grandson, Zachary Habeck. Harvey is survived by his children and their spouses, Michael C. and Margie Habeck, Steven A. and Joann Habeck, Charles W. Habeck, Daniel A. and Maureen Habeck and Ruth A. and John Biedron, grandchildren, Michael Jr., Christopher, Chuckie, Laura, Rachel, Adam, Rebekah, Seth, Stephanie, Sarah, Jessica, Emily and Cody, 16 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 9, 2022 at Brigadier General William C. Coyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, North Hanover Township. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations are made to the Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Center, 175 Madison Avenue, Mount Holly, NJ 08060.
