Please share a memory of Yolanda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Willingboro: Yolanda M. Yetko Simko, age 83 of Willingboro, New Jersey entered her eternal life on Friday, August 19, 2022. Yolanda was born in Roebling to the late Stephen and Mary Sturak Yetko and was a 1957 graduate of Cathedral High School in Trenton. Shortly after graduation, Yolanda met George J. Simko. They married in 1962 and moved into their new home in Willingboro where they raised their family and made many lifelong friends. Yolanda worked for the NJ Division of Pensions until the birth of her first daughter, and thereafter became a devoted homemaker. In 1981 she joined Avon as a Representative and during her 30+ years of service developed an extensive customer network across Willingboro and the surrounding communities. Yolanda appreciated the bonds that she formed with her family, friends and coworkers from Avon and enjoyed the times they spent together during numerous social gatherings. Yolanda and her husband, George, took great pleasure in traveling, going on cruises and trying their luck at the casinos in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. She will be affectionately remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmom. Undoubtedly, her greatest joy was championing her grandchildren and watching them grow into the fine individuals they are today. Yolanda was an amazing lady who touched the lives of everyone she knew with her candor, love and kindness. Yolanda was a member of the Florence Township Chapter of Deborah, Corpus Christi Church in Willingboro and a former member of the Corpus Christi School PTA, volunteering as room mother for her daughter's classes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, George J. Simko who passed away in 2021. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Dana and Damian Ciccariello, Maria and Joseph Buzzanco and Jacqueline and Thomas Lenhardt, her beloved grandchildren, Stephen (Joan), Lauren (Scott), Nicholas, Joseph, Brianna, Christina, Grace and Bethany, her great granddaughter, Ella Rose, sisters, Dolores Skwara and Carol Suppa and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling. Friends may call from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Internment in Holy Assumption Cemetery will be private for the immediate family only.
