Obituary of Margery "Marge" Rusnak

Roebling: Margery "Marge" Rusnak, age 91 of Roebling entered her eternal life Tuesday, July 12, 2022. Mrs. Rusnak was born in Burlington to the late Thomas W. and Mary A. McGinley Tillinghast. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Rusnak in 1993, siblings Robert, Thomas, Bernard, William, Edward and Richard Tillinghast, Esther Lukens and Mary Gilbert and son-in-law, Bernard St. Jean. She was proud to call Roebling her home since 1955. Mrs. Rusnak was a legal secretary for various law firms throughout Burlington County and retired from the Township of Florence as the secretary to the Township Administrator after many years of dedicated service. She was a 1949 graduate of Cathedral High School. Marge was the epitome of a Christian who will be celebrated for her caring, thoughtfulness and generosity she showed toward others. She will be affectionately remembered as the "Cookie Lady" and "New Jersey Mom Mom". Please know Marge's love will always be with you in your heart. Mrs. Rusnak was a member of Mary Mother of the Church Parish ~ Holy Assumption Church in Roebling and the Altar Rosary Society of the church, the Cathedral Alumni Association, Florence Township Historical Society, Florence Township Chapter of Deborah and former member and trustee of the Florence Township Library. Marge was also a former member of the Holy Assumption School PTA holding several offices. She is survived by her children and a spouse Mary Ann and Bill Paglione, Michele St. Jean and Martin Rusnak; grandchildren Matthew, Lauren (David), Colleen, Nicholas (Amanda), Corina, Alicia (Nick) and Abigail; great grandchildren Makenna, Riley, Aubrie, Raegan, Trevor, Camden, Finn, Kailyn, Riley and Matty; sister Eunice Cotter, special caregiver/friend Christine Popso and family; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday 10:30 AM at Holy Assumption Church, 1290 Hornberger Ave., Roebling. Friends may call Monday from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling. Interment will be in Holy Assumption Cemetery.
