Obituary of Clare M. Anderson

Edgewater Park: Clare M. Anderson, age 86 of Edgewater Park, New Jersey departed this life on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Mrs. Anderson was born in Burlington, raised in Florence and was proud to call Edgewater Park her home for the majority of her life. She was the daughter of the late Stephen and Eleanor Phillips Bolger. Clare will be affectionately remembered as an excellent and outstanding waitress at the Londonshire Restaurant in Burlington for more than 35 years. She will be affectionately celebrated for her outgoing, friendly and awesome personality. She loved to socialize and be surrounded by family and friends. Clare was a talented musician and found great pleasure playing the piano and organ. Some of her most treasured times were spent cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, getting lost in a good book and successfully completing a puzzle. However, perhaps her "Number One" joy in life was fulfilling the role of "Nanny Ander" to her grands! Mrs. Anderson was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish ~ St. Paul Worship Site in Burlington. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Anderson Sr. and sister, Helen Hamlin. She is survived by her children and a spouse, Lawrence Jr. and Linda Anderson, James R. Anderson and Monica E. Anderson, grandchildren, Alyssa, Brittany and Nora, great grandson, Lucas and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling with the clergy of St. Katharine Drexel Parish officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington.
