Marlton: David R. Csik, age 69 of Marlton, New Jersey departed this life on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at his home in the company of his loving wife. Mr. Csik was born in Trenton to the late David and Virginia Annechini Csik. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Kern. He resided in Florence Township and Medford before moving to Marlton 6 years ago. David was a 1970 graduate of Florence Township Memorial High School, attended the Bordentown Military Institute and received his Bachelor`s Degree in Communications from Villanova University in 1975. His entrepreneurship encompassed the Camera Supply in Burlington, the Lumberton Deli, Salad Sensations in Medford and his consulting firm Smart Screen, which he and his wife, Maria successfully managed. He was a Corvette aficionado, restoring several cars with his son, Justin. Some of David's most pleasurable times included a round of golf, supporting the Philadelphia Phillies and of course his unwavering enthusiasm for the "Nova Nation". He had a special place in his heart for animals, rescuing many breeds of dogs. For David, his family meant everything. Dave was a faithful caregiver to both his parents and will be celebrated as a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Maria Marinelli Csik, son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Valerie Csik, brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Rose Csik, brothers-in-law, Ron Marinelli and Lawrence Kern as well as many nieces and nephews and his Dalmatian "Bestie", Rio. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Road, Tabernacle 08088 with Rev. Andrew Jamieson officiating. His final disposition will be attended by his immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations are made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Willing Hearts Dalmatian Rescue, PO Box 11, Royersford, PA 19468.
