Jake will be greatly missed by myself and (l'm sure) others in the Homestead community. His smile was complimented by his gentle nature.

Jake was our “buddy from New Jersey”. He owned property next to our farm - the Lane Nutter farm. My family ALWAYS looked forward to seeing him each deer season. My last face to face conversation with Jake was in a big field, mid afternoon. Jake was coming out on his ATV. We talked longer than usual about hunting & life in general. I always suspected, but I asked Jake if he was a Christian. Jake said he was. His everyday actions proved his faith and he was a great example of Christ’s love. We’ll sorely miss his presence - until we meet again.

Jake was such a sweet, gentle man —-it was always such a pleasure to talk with him and get his expertise on things about the lawn and the trees. I believe the little that I knew him …that he also knew the Lord ….which gives me comfort that I will see him again. My prayer is that the memories he leaves behind will put a smile on everyone’s face and joy in their heart because he was such a kind person.

I had the honor to be a small part in Jake’s life. He was always a gentleman and great friend. Such dedication to the Homestead property and clients. He and Justi helped to deliver food pantry goods each week. Jake was a good son and brother. I will forever miss the talks and all we shared over the years. He will be missed by all he touched. Rip in the Heavenly hunting grounds continue your dreams..June Mc

We met Jake a couple years ago at Homestead and knew immediately he was a good, polite and fair man. I knew we’d be friends. We heard He was a very talented landscaper and as soon as he was done our front yard we knew why! Every time he drove down our street he would wave hello or even stop by to see how we were doing. We are shocked and deeply saddened by his passing. Rest In Peace Jake, you will surely be missed my friend.
Sincerely,
Maureen and Jack Lampman ❤️

What a shock to learn that Jake had passed away. He was a great friend, conscientious landscaper, and above all a true gentleman. He was always ready with a kind word, sage advice, or even a shoulder to cry on. He will be missed so very much. Our great community at Homestead will sorely miss his improvements. Rest in peace my dear friend.
