Roebling: Lois A. "Big Lo" Nykita McGough, age 71 of Roebling, New Jersey departed this life on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Ms. McGough was born in Trenton and was the daughter of the late Joseph Jr. and Irene Checca Nykita. She called Roebling her home for her entire life and retired from the moving and storage industry following a 35 year career. Lois was accomplished in the sport of billiards and completed many tournament championships. She enjoyed taking trips to the Harrahs Casino in Atlantic City to try her luck on her favorite slot machine, watching her grandson, Heath play MLB on TV, was very proud of her granddaughter, Dezarae's career as a State Trooper for the State of Maine and was delighted in the culinary expertise of her grandson, Andrew. Lois had an easy going disposition and enjoyed animals. She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Romanian Catholic Church, the Willitts Hogan Tonne American legion Unit 39, Ladies Auxiliary of the Opre Larson VFW Post 8838 and the American Pool Players Association. Lois is survived by her children, Raymond McGough and Lisa Aubry and Adrienne and Heath Fillmyer, her grandchildren, Heath Fillmyer, Dezarae Fillmyer and Andrew McGough, her sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Bill Moran and her niece, Natalie. Funeral services and final disposition will be private.
