Obituary of Elizabeth C. "Betty" Gould

Burlington Township: Elizabeth C. "Betty" Manser Gould age 94 of Burlington Township, New Jersey entered her eternal life March 4, 2022 in the company of her loved ones. Mrs. Gould was born in Burlington to the late Frank Manser and Wilhemina "Minnie" Moller Manser. She resided there lifelong and was a telephone operator for NJ Bell. Elizabeth was a woman who was loyal and devoted to God and her Presbyterian faith. She shared her time and talents as a Sunday school teacher at the church and served her community as a den mother for Cub Scouts. Betty enjoyed traveling to all of the 50 States, many of the 63 National Parks and her vacations in Europe. She was gifted with the capability to sew and crochet. Betty will be affectionately celebrated for her devotion and passionate care shown to her husband, Charlie. However, some of her most cherished moments were spent fulfilling the role of grand mom and mom mom to her grandchildren. Mrs. Gould was a member of 1492ers Campers Club and the Wednesday Card Club. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Charles P. Gould Sr. in 2019 and her brother, Walter Francis Manser. She is survived by her son, Charles P. Gould Jr., grandson, Zachary C. Gould, granddaughter, Lauralynne E. Gould and her beloved extended family and dear friends. Funeral services will be Friday 12:00 PM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling. Friends may call Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, North Hanover Township. Facial covering is required for the visitation and funeral service. Betty's family is grateful for your cooperation.
