Obituary of David P. Monti

Florence Township: David P. Monti, age 73 of Florence Township, New Jersey departed this life on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Mr. Monti was born in Trenton and was the son of the late Peter F. and Thelma Pannick Monti. David resided in Florence Township his entire life. He was a skilled machinist employed by Shafts and Sleeves in Roebling. Mr. Monti was a member of the Rollin' Oldies Car Club, Bristol Yacht Club and the Delran Junior Marksman Club. David was an antique car aficionado who delighted in building, restoring and showing his accomplishments. In addition to antique cars he also enjoyed boating. David will be celebrated for his kind and helpful disposition and fondly remembered for the love he demonstrated for his family. Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Beverly A. Monti who passed away in 2012 and his beloved uncle, Walter Pannick who was like a father to him. He is survived by his wife, Judith Wilson King, his daughters, Melissa Clemens and Ross Atkinson and Andrea and Ethan Van Sciver, grandchildren, Shannon, Danielle, Hunter, Kayley and Ava, his "Canine Bestie", Cindy and his son, Mark King and his significant other, Kimberly Roache. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling with Pastor Maritza Gonzalez-Colon officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Final disposition will be held privately. Facial coverings are required.
