Obituary of Barbara A. "Barb" Bunting

Florence Township: Barbara A. "Barb" Bunting, age 76 of Florence Township, New Jersey and Naples, Florida entered her eternal life on Friday, February 4, 2022 at her home in the company of her loving family. Mrs. Bunting was born in Trenton to the late Samuel and Anne Travea Cesaretti. She called Florence Township her home lifelong until her retirement and then spent part of the year in Naples, Florida. She also enjoyed vacations at the family's summer cabin in Weld, Maine. Barbara was a 1967 graduate of Rocksboro Nursing School and continued her education earning her Master's Degree in Nursing. Barbara retired from her nursing career after 57 years of compassionate and dedicated service. She took great pride in helping others and being needed. Barb's kind, loving and compassionate personality will be celebrated by everyone that had the privilege of knowing her. Mrs. Bunting was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church in Bustleton and was an active member of the Marco Presbyterian Church in Florida where she volunteered at Stephens Ministries and the Congregational Care Program delivering meals to shut-ins and offering support to people going through a personal crisis. Additionally, Barb was a member of the Verona Walk Cert Team Committee and was trained in disaster relief. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Robert C. Bunting who passed away in 2021 and is survived by her children and a spouse, Nancy and Patrick Balunis, Kerry Gilbert and Lisa Gerstenacker, grandchildren, Anthony Gilbert, Samantha Gerstenacker, Loren Balunis and Rachel Balunis, brother and sister-in-law, David and Mary Cesaretti, nephew and spouse, David and Lisa Cesaretti as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Providence Presbyterian Church, 2087 Old York Road, Burlington with Rev. Charles A. Cesaretti Jr. officiating. The Nurses Honor Guard will conduct the Nightingale Tribute at 10:00AM. There will be no calling hours. Inurnment will be in Columbus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations are made to the Providence Presbyterian Church, 2087 Old York Road, Burlington, New Jersey 08016.
