Obituary of Robert H. "Bobby" Fort Jr.

Robert H. (Bobby) Fort, Jr., age 61 of Mansfield Township, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Monday, January 17, 2022 at his home. Robert was born in Trenton, NJ and resided in Mansfield Township all his life. He will be forever remembered for his love of auto racing at Atco and New Egypt raceways. His motto was to race the heck out his car, only to blow them up so he could come home to fix them from scratch. In addition to auto racing, Bobby loved model airplane flying where he spent a lot of his time with his local flying club. He had a one of a kind personality; everyone who knew him loved him. Even though he was a bit stubborn, domineering and witty, like his mother, it was his way or the highway and everyone respected him for that. Those will be the cherished memories that will keep his spirit alive. He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him. He was predeceased by his father, Robert H. Fort, mother, Elizabeth Fort and nephew David P. McAfee. Robert is survived by his three sisters, Donna Cousin, Karen Fort and Kim Little, three nephews, Todd Marlin, Steven Marlin and Jonathan Little, two nieces, Carley Mento and Jessica Little and many grand nieces and nephews.
