Obituary of Ioana Buscan

Woodbridge: Ioana Buscan, age 76 of Woodbridge, New Jersey entered into her eternal life on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Buscan was born in Tecuci Teleorman, Romania and was the daughter of the late Ispas Ursu and Rada Ion Ursu. She resided in Woodbridge for the past 19 years and was formerly of Romania. Some of her favorite times were spent outdoors enjoying the sun and planting and taking care of her garden. She loved animals, spending time in the kitchen preparing her favorite recipes, going to the ocean and listening to her Bible CD's. However, her most cherished times were spent with her family and listening to her grandchildren play the piano. Mrs. Buscan was a member of Holy Angels Michael and Gabriel Romanian Orthodox Church in Roebling. She was predeceased by her husband, Ioan Ruse, husband, Ion Buscan, daughter, Angelica Ruse Benavides and her sisters, Marioara Bumbac, and Milica Manole. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Valentina and Catalin Notinaru, grandchildren, Daniela and Catalina, brother and sister-in-law, Valerica and Paula Ursu, son-in-law, Alberto Benavides and relatives in Romania, Irina, Emilia, Raluca and Roxana. Funeral Services will be Wednesday 10:00 AM at Holy Angels Michael and Gabriel Romanian Orthodox Church, 580 Hamilton Avenue, Roebling with Rev. Gheorghe Salgau officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the church. Interment will be in Holy Angels Michael and Gabriel Romanian Orthodox Cemetery, Mansfield Township.
