Obituary of Cristian Petrescu

Hamilton Township: Cristian Petrescu, age 34 of Hamilton Township, New Jersey departed this life on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Mr. Petrescu was born in Constanta, Romania and resided in Hamilton for most of his life. Cristian was a 2006 graduate of Hamilton High School West and was a member of the basketball team. He was a New York Giants football enthusiast and will be fondly remembered for his witty and clever personality. Cristian was a pleasant person to be around and fun to spend time with. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandparents and is survived by his parents, Viorica Jianu Petrescu and Anastase Petrescu, sister and brother-in-law, Monica and Steve Chis-Luca, son, Damion A. Petrescu, niece, Symona Chis-Luca, one uncle in Romania, cousins and his companion, Crystal. Funeral services will be Monday 10:00 AM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, NJ. Friends may call Sunday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Angels Michael & Gabriel Romanian Orthodox Cemetery, Mansfield Township. All visitors are required to wear facial coverings for the visitation and funeral services.
