Obituary of Salvatore "Sam" Imperato

Florence: Salvatore "Sam" Imperato, age 94 of Florence, New Jersey, departed this life on Sunday, October 17, 2021. Mr. Imperato was born in Philadelphia and was the son of the late Vito Imperato and Antonetta Ruggieri Imperato. In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by his sisters, Rose Salerno and Nina Zak, his niece, Denise Salerno and his loving companion, Lucille M. Lauria. Sam resided in Bristol before calling Florence his home 35 years ago. He was a retired payroll accountant employed by Rhom and Haas in Bristol and served his country with honor in the US Army during WWII. Sam was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles sports enthusiast and enjoyed his visits to the Parx Casino. Salvatore is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, his loving caregivers, Sandra M. Brown and her family and Susan Ewing. Funeral services will be Thursday 11:00 AM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, New Jersey.
