Roebling: Joseph H. "Joe" Swiderski Sr., age 89 of Roebling, New Jersey passed away Friday, September 3, 2021. Mr. Swiderski was born in Roebling and was the son of the late Alexander and Helen Kinalski Swiderski. He resided in Roebling lifelong. Joseph was employed by John A. Roebling C.F. & I. Corporation in Roebling and retired from Hoeganaes Corporation in Cinnaminson after 47 years of loyal service in the steel industry. He served his country with honor in the US Navy during the Korean War. Joe enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. Some of his most pleasurable times were spent watching "War Movies" and "Cowboy Shows" on the television. In his younger years he enjoyed going fishing. Joseph's family will fondly remember him as a loving husband, father, pop pop and brother. Beside his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Verna M. Furth Swiderski in 2014 and his 9 siblings. He is survived by three sons and daughter-in-law, Joseph H. Jr. and Christine Swiderski, Christopher S. Swiderski and Thomas H. Swiderski, grandchildren, Adam and Ashley, twin brother and his wife, Thomas and Wanda Swiderski, Howard and Stephanie Furth and family who were like children to him as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery will be private. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 35 Academy Dr., Westampton, NJ 08060.
