Obituary of Philip J. "Phil" Caggiano

Florence: Philip J. "Phil" Caggiano, age 69 of Florence, New Jersey departed this life on Wednesday, August 4, 2021. Mr. Caggiano was born in Wiesentheid, Germany to the late Philip N. Caggiano and Johanna L. Pfannes Caggiano. He called Florence his home since 1995. Phil was a retired electrician with 50 years of dedicated service. Philip cherished the time he spent with his family, particularly his grandchildren and appreciated the hospitality shown to him at the Parker House in Florence and the camaraderie of the patrons who became his buddies. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Kristen Caggiano and is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nancy L. Woodrow Caggiano, his children and their spouses, Philip N. and Dee Caggiano, Michael Caggiano and Melissa and Scott Bergner, grandchildren, Kameron and Eddie, Scott Jr., Brieana, Haylee, Rylie and Magen, great grandchildren, Jaden, Ivy and Tanner, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Dawn and Clarence Shepard, Randy and Laura Woodrow and Jamie Woodrow, Aunt, Fran Caggiano, many nieces, nephews and cousins and his good friend who became his brother, Anthony Caruso Jr. A celebration of Phil's life will be held 5:45 PM on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the Riverside Chapel, 500 West Front Street, Florence, NJ with Pastor Scott Karge officiating. Friends may call Monday from 4:30 PM until the time of service at the church. Final disposition will be held privately.
