Florence: Paul A. Anderson, age 79 of Florence, New Jersey departed this life on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in the company of his loving family. Mr. Anderson was born in Florence and called Florence his home lifelong. Paul retired in 1998 from Rohm & Haas in Bristol, PA as a Licensed Professional Engineer with more than 33 years of loyal service. He was also employed by John A. Roebling C.F. & I. in Trenton. Mr. Anderson served his country with honor in the US Army during Vietnam. Paul was a member of the Burlington Lodge # 32 F & AM. To Paul, the most important part of his life was his family and the love they shared. He will be fondly thought of and remembered for his subtle tone and reserved expression. Paul was a gifted craftsman who enjoyed spending time with his dad woodworking and building furniture. He appreciated NASCAR, tinkering with automobiles and was a Ford Mustang aficionado. Paul was the son of the late Claude A. Anderson and Hazel Sitzler Anderson, brother of the late Claude Anderson and brother-in-law of the late Marie Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Marjorie Rogers Anderson, his children, Paul A. and Camille Anderson, Deborah Anderson and Mark Stuber and David Anderson and Jennifer Sabol, his grandchildren, Payton, Mackenzie and Eric, his siblings, Norman and Derene Anderson, Edward Anderson, Sue Ann and Thomas Glock, Sandra and Joseph Young and Hazel and Ronald Rogers, his feline companion, Pepper as well as many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, NJ. Facial coverings are preferred. Final disposition will be private.
