Lunchtime - Cubicle, approx 16yrs ago I'm sitting next the this new guy at work and I over hear this conversation:
Dave: Yes, Hi can you tell me if your chicken cheese steak normally has chunks of chicken on it or is it the shredded kind? (he already knew).
Young girl on phone: I don't know sir.
Dave: Well, Can you ask or better yet put the chef on the phone for me? Thanks.
Chef: Sir, we normally use the shredded kind but ran out so we used the chunks of chicken.
Dave: I'm sorry but don't you think you should inform the customer of that since it is normally made one way and now your providing it another?
Chef: We probably should have would you like a credit?
Dave: No, I want a new sandwich delivered so that I may enjoy the lunch I initially should have been provided.
Chef: Ok sir, we'll drop one off in about 20min.
At that moment I knew I liked the guy. Rest in peace my brother, until we meet again...

Yo bro, Me you and Brian are the only ones that could have collected what we did from those Discover debtors. Wish we could have hung out more, but the time we spent was always a good time. From cracking jokes at work to wings and beer at PJ'S. Gone too soon, Rest in Peace my friend

My dear Nephew David,
Watching you give Jacob a haircut during the covid pandemic this past year was the funniest thing watching you try to give him a somewhat decent trim. We had so much fun in Todd’s back yard that night laughing and joking and of course playing some basketball.
One of the many memories I will cherish in my heart. You are so loved and now it’s your time to rest knowing we will miss you dearly.
Love you to the moon and back
Aunt Karen

I was very saddened to hear the news of David‘s passing. I just wanted to send my condolences to his wife, daughter, and the rest of his family. I only worked with David for a couple years, but I really enjoyed our time as coworkers. He was a really nice guy and will be missed!! Deepest sympathy, Howard Miron
