Please share a memory of Elizabeth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Roebling: Elizabeth M. "Betty" Drangula, age 93 of Roebling, New Jersey died Thursday, February 18, 2021. She was born in Roebling and resided there lifelong until moving to Hamilton Grove recently. Elizabeth was the daughter of the late John and Mary Jacobs Drangula and mother of the late Michelle Pezzuto. Betty was formerly employed by John A. Roebling and Sons and US Steel. Later in her career she became the office manager for Lawn Works. She enjoyed being the familiar voice on the other end of the telephone to the customers she had known for over 30 years! Elizabeth "Betty" lived a long, wonderful life filled with bingo, crossword puzzles, game show TV and going for long drives to see nature. Betty was able to live on her own and continued to work until she was about 91 years old! Eventually, Betty moved into a healthcare facility, where she spent her hours continuing to do all the things she loved. Beside game show TV and chatting with new friends, she loved to laugh and sing. She cherished afternoons that were bingo days and would eventually be given the "Betty the Bingo Queen" award which she proudly displayed taped to the wall of her room. Betty was an active member of her new home, sitting on resident committees and sharing her views and suggestions. Some of her favorite days included afternoons in which her family would come to visit and venture out for a ride around the neighborhood. She was always filled with love and laughter and anticipated that would be the way she would always be remembered. Elizabeth was a member of Holy Assumption Church in Roebling, was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and had a passion for glazed donuts. In addition to her parents and daughter, she was predeceased by her siblings Mary, Helen and John and is survived by her granddaughter and her husband, Danielle and David Yansick Jr., her great grandson, Trip Yansick and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services and final disposition were held privately. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hamilton Grove Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, 2300 Hamilton Avenue, Hamilton, New Jersey 08619, Attention: Activity Department. Please include Activity Department Only in the check Memo Line. Condolences may be sent to www.koschekandporterfuneralhome.com
