Obituary of Elizabeth C. Soltesz
Roebling: Elizabeth Csogi Soltesz, age 81 of Roebling, New Jersey departed this life on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in the company of her loving and devoted daughter Melanie. Mrs. Soltesz was born in Trenton and was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Theresa Jenei Csogi. Elizabeth called Roebling her home lifelong. In addition to raising her family, she was a receptionist for the practices of Dr. John Gallagher and Dr. Maietta and taught English as a Second Language for the Burlington City Board of Education. Elizabeth was extremely proud of her Hungarian heritage. She delighted in preparing Hungarian delicacies and sharing her time and talents with her church. Mrs. Soltesz had the ability to make others happy just by being in their company. Elizabeth mastered the art of ballroom dancing and found great pleasure honing her skills on the dance floor. Mrs. Soltesz was a brave and strong woman who embraced her faith and her family. Her most enjoyable times were being "grammy" to Mariah and Savannah and spending time with her daughter Melanie and her husband John. Mrs. Soltesz was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church of Roebling and also a Sunday school teacher at the church. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Elmer Soltesz and Charles Weissberg and her son, Darrell Soltesz. She is survived by her loving daughter, Melanie Pielacha and her husband John, cherished granddaughters, Mariah and Savannah Pielacha, loving grandchildren, Zachary and Elicia, loving sister, Emily VanArsdale, loving daughter-in-law, Donna Drummond, Paula Ingham and her family who was like a sister to Elizabeth, son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Joyce Soltesz and their children Jaclyn and Nicholas and nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial in Riverview Cemetery in Trenton will be private with Rev. Garey Hope officiating. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Hungarian Reformed Church of Roebling, 140 Norman Avenue, Roebling, New Jersey 08554.
