Obituary of Joy A. Tindall
Little Egg Harbor and Formerly of Columbus: Joy A. Tindall, age 89 of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey departed this life on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Joy was born in Atlantic City and was the daughter of the late Henry and Eugenia Lane Jastrau. She spent many years in Columbus, New Jersey before moving to Little Egg Harbor 20 years ago. Besides raising her family, Joy was a dietitian employed by the Walson Army Hospital on Fort Dix. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who's family made her world complete. Joy treated others in a pleasant, kind and gentle manner and will be affectionately thought of for her sense of humor and self-confidence. In addition to nurturing her family Joy savored her visits to the beach in Surf City on Long Beach Island. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Brian Tindall, granddaughter, Olivia Morgan Tindall and Jose Flores. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Elise Tindall and William Maguire, Richard "Rick" and Joanne Tindall, Mark Tindall and Jeffrey and Lisa Ann Tindall, her grandchildren, Tiara, Chase, Ashleigh, Keegan and Aidan, great grandchild, Aliana, many cousins and honorary nieces and nephews and her faithful and longtime caregiver, Kathi Gordon.
