Mansfield Township: Frank V. Celentano, age 92 of Homestead at Mansfield died Monday, October 12, 2020 at his home. Mr. Celentano was born in the Bronx, New York and was the son of the late Pasquale and Julia Mazzarella Celentano. He resided in Seaford, New York before moving to Homestead at Mansfield 23 years ago. Frank served his country with honor in the US Navy. He will be lovingly remembered as an awesome and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. In addition to spending time with his family Frank found much pleasure bowling with his Homestead buddies. He was predeceased by his wife Joan A. Celentano in 2016 and is survived by his children and their spouses, Mary and David Canonico, Thomas Celentano and Barbara and Michael Murray, grandchildren, Maxwell and Samuel and his 2 nieces. Funeral services will be held privately. There will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Thursday 11:00 AM in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery Z Shelter, 350 Provinceline Road, N. Hanover Township. All visitors will be required to wear a facial covering.
