Obituary of Lois G. VanDoren

Florence Township: Lois G. VanDoren, age 92 of Florence Township passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 in Burlington Woods. Mrs. VanDoren was born in Neptune, NJ and was the daughter of the late Robert and Bertha Applegate Gant. Lois resided in Highland Park, New Jersey and Port St. Lucie, Florida before moving to Florence Township eleven years ago. She was a retired bank manager, employed by the First Fidelity / Wells Fargo Bank in North Brunswick with 35 years of loyal service. Lois will be fondly remembered as an accomplished artist, for her talent in the kitchen making delicious meals and for her hand knitted designs. Her most favorable times were spent with her family, especially during the Holidays. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard VanDoren who passed away in 2010 and is survived by her children and their spouses, Richard and Susie VanDoren, Jill VanDoren, Diane VanDoren and George Horner and Melissa and John Smith, her grandchildren, Jeremiah, Amanda, Naomi, Christopher, Michael and Gina, her great grandchild, James and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Wednesday 7:30 PM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling. Friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
