Roebling: James G. "Jimmy" Buonanno Sr., age 44 of Roebling passed away December 3, 2019. Mr. Buonanno was born in Willingboro and resided in Florence Township lifelong. He was a union operator, employed by Total Center Maintenance in Burlington for the past seven years. Jimmy attended Holy Assumption School in Roebling and the Marcella L. Duffy School in Florence. He was a 1993 graduate of Florence Township Memorial High School and furthered his education by attending the Burlington County Institute of Technology and Burlington County Community College. He will be affectionately thought of as a kind, gentle and giving individual. JB had a special talent when it came to selecting just the "right" gifts for his family and friends. He was a devoted supporter of his children’s passions, enjoyed fishing, going to the park and was a role model, coach and mentor to many. Weightlifting is a physical activity that requires strength developed over time by acquiring much mental endurance and discipline. Jimmy was passionate about this endurance.  In addition to his weightlifting, he was also passionate about the custom art created by Body Art Artist, Adam Pietras who designed his expressions of his family for him. His greatest passion in life was his family. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825.
