Florence Twp., Alicemae Agostinelli, age 95 of Florence, passed Monday at Virtua Hospital in Willingboro. Mrs. Agostinelli was born in Burlington and was the daughter of the late Norman and Julia Britton Johnson. She was a lifelong resident of Florence Township. Alicemae was a retired hostess for the Esquire Diner in Southampton with many years of loyal service. During WWII she worked in the John A. Roebling & Sons Steel Mill Screen Shop and was a Rosie the Riveter for Fleet Wings in Bristol to assist in the war effort. Alicemae and her husband owned and operated the Green Star Inn in Florence for many years. She was a member of St. Clare's Catholic Church and Mary Mother of the Church Parish Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Good Neighbors Senior Citizens of Florence. Mrs. Agostinelli will be fondly remembered for her talent as an outstanding baker, especially her delightful biscotti. Alicemae was the wife of the late Marino Agostinelli, mother of the late Linda O'Hara and grandmother of the late Marino Cesaretti. She is survived by her daughter, Christina Cesaretti, sister Norma Carocci, son-in-law Dennis O'Hara, grandchildren and their spouses, Scarlett and Brian Turnbull, Kelly and Benjamin Petty, Kerri & Ryan Luzinski, Shannon & Michael Coluzzi, Erin O'Hara, Dennis O'Hara II & Kevin Shrum and Matteo & Kerri, great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Colin, Taylor, Kristopher, Benjamin, Ashlee, Jax, Allison, Vienna, Michael, Luca, Giulietta, Kayliegh & Evelina, niece, Debra Milcarek and nephew Norman Carocci. Funeral Mass will be Saturday 11 AM at Holy Assumption Church, 1290 Hornberger Ave. Roebling. Friends may call from 9:00 AM until church departure at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Ave. Roebling. The rosary will be recited at 10:00 AM. Burial will be held privately in Brig. General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, North Hanover.
