Florence Township: Verna M. Chance, age 95 of Florence Township, passed away Monday in Southern Ocean County Medical Center, Stafford Township, NJ. Mrs. Chance was born in Florence and was the daughter of the late Guiseppi and Isolena Montifisoni Stefanoni. She resided in Florence Township lifelong. Verna's greatest joy was her beloved family and being "Mom Mom" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a Philadelphia sports enthusiast, especially cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. Mrs. Chance was a member of Holy Assumption Church, Roebling. Predeceased by her husband, Donald L. Chance Sr. and siblings, Alderigo, Leon & Joseph Stefanoni and Lily Gauntt. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Christine & William Ryan and Donald Jr. & Susan Chance, brother & sister-in-law, Tony & Louise Stefanoni, sister-in-law, Janice Stefanoni, grandchildren and spouses, Kim Edger, Kelly & Jose Tavarez, Devin & Bill Pullen, Michele & Neil Edwards and Mandy & Danny Owens, great grandchildren, Delaney, Matthew, Caelyn, Jacob, Gabrielle, Julia, Caroline, Savannah, Connor, Claudia & Brooke and many nieces & nephews.
