Obituary of Michael E. Revak
Roebling: Michael E. Revak, age 89 of Roebling died Saturday in Samaritan Hospice, Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mount Holly in the company of his loving family. Mr. Revak was born in Trenton and was the son of the late Michael and Helen Mero Revak. He resided in Roebling lifelong and was a retired iron worker, employed by US Steel in Trenton and was also employed by U.S. Pipe in Burlington and Sears at the Burlington Center Mall. Michael served his country with honor in the US Army during the Korean War. Mr. Revak was a devoted member of his church, participating in the annual Ethnic Festival and other parish functions throughout the year. Mike enjoyed gardening and collecting watches. He will be affectionately remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and dedicated employee. Mr. Revak was a member of St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church, the Willitts Hogan Tonne American Legion Post 39 and the Opre Larson VFW Post 8838 all of Roebling. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Mislyan Revak, his children and a spouse, David Revak, Susan & Anthony Carugno and Sandy Revak Jones, grandchildren, Michael and Ashley Carugno, Eric and Amy Revak and Payton Jones, great grandchild, Mason Jiardinelli, sister, Helen Hay (Daniel), brother, Nicholas Revak (Carol), sister-in-law, Ann Foley and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be Thursday 10:00 AM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling. Office of Christian Burial will be 11:30 AM at St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church, Roebling with Rev. Yuriy Oros officiating.
