As a coworker and friend from PHH, I can say first hand that Steve touched everyone that he talked to and the room lit up with his smile and upbeat charm and personality. He genuinely loved people and they loved him back. He was a master story teller and loved to have long conversations with you about his family who he adored and his wife who he deeply loved and was so proud to share. Some people only hope they make a difference in the world... with Steve, there is no doubt. God Bless your family.

Deepest Sympathy to the family.
It has surely been a long tough road.
I worked with Steve at PHH for a few years several years ago.
What a wonderful person!
A great story teller.
Terrific sense of humor.
Technical expertise to boot.
Friendly and engaging smile and personality.
He was missed when he stopped working at PHH.
God Bless and have comfort in knowing his battle is over.

I went to Holy Cross with Steve, and while I have only seen him a time or two (reunions) since we graduated, I remember him fondly as a kind, smart, and fun-loving guy. Specifically: he generously allowed me to use him as a character in a series of stories I wrote for the Tumbler, the HC literary magazine, and later agreed to be a human prop (barber customer) for a speech in speech class (others I asked “respectfully declined”). Yes, his job was just to sit and pretend to get his hair cut (Steve was a really good sport) but I vividly remember to this day the huge smile on his face during the “haircut”—in fact, it’s impossible for me to think of Steve without that big smile. In ways big and small we are all products of the people with whom we interact during our lives, and when I think of Steve, his kindness and his smile, I feel blessed to have known him, however briefly. My condolences to his family and friends.

May Steve rest in peace and the whole family be consoled. You are all in my prayers, and in the prayers of the community that I serve. They prayed for you all on Sunday.
