Obituary of Debra C. Kern

Moorestown: Debra C. Kern, age 60 of Moorestown died Sunday, April 28, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Somerdale, New Jersey and resided in Roebling before moving to Moorestown 28 years ago. Debra was a graduate of Holy Cross High School, Rosemont College and the University of California, Hastings College of Law. She was an Attorney with the law firm of Pelino and Lentz in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Debbie will be affectionately remembered for her generous and caring character. She was a woman of deep faith and always put others before herself. Debra was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and good friend. Mrs. Kern was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Moorestown. She was predeceased by her father, David Csik and is survived by her husband of 31 years, Lawrence M. Kern, her children, Lawrence D. Kern, Jonathan A. Kern and Amanda P. Kern, Mother, Virginia Annechini Csik, brothers & sisters-in-law, David & Maria Csik and Dale & Rose Csik, brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Robert C. & Yuri Kern, nephew & spouse, Justin & Valerie Csik, niece, Samantha Csik, nephew, Erik Csik, nephew, Timothy Kern, niece, Penelope Kern, aunt , Jennie Keiger, uncle, Tibbot Csik (Sandi) and many cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at the church for a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 20, 2019 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 Main Street, Moorestown, NJ with Rev. John Bogacz officiating. Friends may call Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling. Final disposition will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Monastery of Saint Clare, 150 White Pine Road, Chesterfield, NJ 08515.
