Surf City: Grace H. Long passed away peacefully on April 28, 2019 at Genesis Southern Ocean Center, Manahawkin, NJ, having celebrated her 95th birthday one week prior. Grace was born and raised in Roebling, NJ and spent the first 55 years of her life there before moving to Fort Myers, FL where she resided for 35 years. She has spent the last five years living on Long Beach Island with her daughter and son-in-law. Grace was a quiet, gentle soul who loved music and dancing. While in Florida she participated in many activities in her community and attended the Presbyterian Church in Cape Coral. She loved her home and family above all else. Her happiest times were family get-togethers and she was always interested in whatever the family was doing. Although she liked Florida, her roots ran deep in Roebling and she always thought of Roebling as "home." She was a lifelong member of the Willitts Hogan Tonne American Legion Unit #39 Women's Auxiliary and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Roebling before moving to Florida in 1979. She was predeceased by her parents Zsofia Kosa Nagy and Joseph Nagy, her beloved husband of 54 years Henry, her loving son Dennis, her brother Joseph (Josephine) Nagy and an infant sister, Irene. She is survived by her devoted and loving daughter, Joyce Sullivan and her husband Kenneth of Long Beach Island, her grandchildren, Kenneth(Marci) Sullivan of Long Beach Island, Brian(Sophie) Sullivan of Carmel Valley, CA, daughter-in-law, Betty Long of Cape Coral, Florida, granddaughters, Megan Long and Erin Long of Cape Coral, Florida, great-granddaughters, Ella Oceana Sullivan of California and Amelia Grace Sullivan of Long Beach Island, dear nephew, Lewis (Barbara) Nagy, as well as many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private at the request of the family. There will be no viewing or calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the OMS LIFE FOUNDATION, P. O. Box 2899, Cypress, Texas 77410, which does research for a rare auto-immune disorder. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, Roebling.
