While checking my brother Bill's (Chernosky) site here at Koschek and Porter's address, I saw that Charles had also passed away recently. My deepest sympathy
to all the family. David and my son Michael were best of friends all their young lives and David was even in Michael's wedding party. Because they lived in the same neighborhood, the boys spent a lot of time at our house with their little group of friends and I'll bet they drove you nuts a good bit of the time too, Margaret. (I'm trying to remember, but I think Sandra probably babysat for my daughter Michele too.) My kids grew up without a Dad around and I think I remember that Charles was kind enough to include my son Michael right along with David in a lot of the transportation back and forth from the sports games they played and other various activities. Charles was always a cheery face in the neighborhood, at the polls, and around town.
He'll be missed by so many more people than I'll bet the family is able to realize right now. Be comforted, as I am with the loss my brother Bill, that Charles was a constant shining light among us and those blessed enough to be close to him also enjoyed the warmth of his steady flame. Just remembering our loved ones brings back a warmth and a brightness in our lives that can't ever be diminished. Thank God.

Have memories of "Charlie" who was a fellow classmate @Leavenworth C.S. Class of '57. We spent many hours practicing in the violin section of the orchestra. He was always pleasant. So glad I recorded a message to him @our 50th Class Reunion.

I will miss Charlie sitting in front of his house as my girlfriends and I walked by every night. We would always stop and talk to him.
You will be missed, Charlie.
