Obituary of Michael D. Fantozzi

Roebling, Michael D. Fantozzi, Jr., age 68 of Roebling, died Tuesday in Deborah Heart & Lung Center, Browns Mills. Mr. Fantozzi was born in Florence, he was the son of the late Michael D. Sr. and Grace Mendozzi Fantozzi and resided in Florence Twp. lifelong. He was a retired Carpenter and member of Local # 1489 of Burlington for 48 years. During the late 1970's and the early 1980's Mr. Fantozzi served on the Florence Twp. Board of Education. He was an avid Florence Twp. sports enthusiast who enjoyed supporting his grandchildren's activities. Mike spent much of his free time doing yard work. Mr. Fantozzi was a member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society and Bingo Committee of the church, Pope John Paul Council # 7428 K of C, Florence Twp. Chapter of Deborah and the John A. Roebling Senior Citizens. Husband of the late Mary M. Nemeth Fantozzi and brother of the late Carmela Cipriano, Antionette Carugno, & Daniel Fantozzi He is survived by Daughter & son-in-law, Michele & George Gebely of Franklin, Tennessee Son & daughter-in-law, Michael D. III & Veronica Fantozzi of Florence 4 sisters & a brother-in-law Helen DiCioccio of Roebling, Agnes Campbell & Angeline & Joseph Russo of Florence Josephine Piotrowski of Yardville 6 Granchildren, Melissa & Amanda Gebely, Alexandria, Michael D. IV, Victoria, & Daniel Fantozzi Many Nieces, Nephews & Cousins Funeral will be Saturday 10:00 AM at Koschek And Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday 11:00 AM at Holy Assumption Catholic Church 1290 Hornberger Ave., Roebling with Rev. Albert Ricciardelli officiating.
