Obituary of Christopher B. Freitag

Roebling: Christopher B. Freitag affectionately known to everyone as "Chris" and "Tag", age 53 of Roebling, New Jersey departed this life on Friday, November 3, 2023. He was born in Trenton and raised in Bordentown before calling Roebling his home for the past 10 years. Chris valued the time he spent with his family and friends and always appreciated them. His outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic manner often characterized him as the "Life of the Party". Tag never passed up the opportunity to hop on his motorcycle or jump in the boat to go fishing. He loved spending time with the "Turds" and long rides with his wife on their motorcycles. Tag will be celebrated for his ability to lighten up a room by his mere presence and subtle smile. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Jill Barone, his sister, Gaye Freitag (John), nephew, Jordan, his children, Marissa Freitag, Gianna, DJ, Amanda and Michael, his grandchildren, Nathan, Mia, Cali and Emi and numerous unwavering friends and extended family. Visitation will be Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, NJ. Final disposition will be held privately.
