Please share a memory of Arthur to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Roebling: Arthur T. “Art” Titzell, Jr., age 79 of Roebling, New Jersey departed this life on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at his home in the company of his loving wife. Mr. Titzell was born in Philadelphia and was the son of the late Arthur T. Titzell and Agnes Regina Phee Titzell. He resided in South Philadelphia before calling Roebling his home for the majority of his life. Art was a well-respected retired supervisor for Occidental Chemical in Burlington with 36 years of loyal and dedicated service. He served his country with honor in the US Army as a Medic in Korea during the time of the Vietnam War and was a life member of the Opre Larson VFW Post 8838 in Roebling. Growing up in South Philly, Art became a staunch Philadelphia Eagles fan early on and remained faithful to his team. He was an avid bowler, accomplished amateur photographer, enjoyed hiking, fishing and the family vacations at the Outer Banks in North Carolina. However, perhaps his most pleasurable times were spent with his wife, Phyllis on their spontaneous excursions and adventures. Art will be celebrated for his mellow personality and loving kindness toward those who shared the privilege of being a part of his life. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Phyllis Lynch Titzell, his sons, Arthur T. Titzell, III of Naples, Florida and Philip (Meredith) Titzell of Cary, North Carolina along with their children, MacKenna and Caden, the lights of his life.  Graveside services will be 11:30 AM Friday, July 21, 2023 in Colonial Memorial Park, 3039 South Broad Street, Hamilton Township. The family requests memorial contributions in memory of Art are made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
